Foundation & Waterproofing Warranties That Protect Alabama Homes

A strong warranty should feel clear, dependable, and easy to use, not confusing or full of fine print. At BDry Alabama, we stand behind our services with warranties that protect your home for the long haul. Coverage varies by system and product, but every warranty is built around quality workmanship, reliable performance, and support you can actually count on if you ever need service.

When you choose a company to protect your home, you should feel confident in what is covered and how the process works. With over 65 years in business, BDry Alabama has built its reputation by doing the work right and standing behind it long after the project is complete.

What's Covered

Coverage varies by system and product, so here is a clear breakdown of what is typically included.

Basement & Crawl Space Waterproofing
  • Interior drainage systems (FreeFlo and TopFlo): lifetime warranty
  • Encapsulation systems: covered for the life of the structure against material and workmanship defects
  • Crawl space liners: warranted against tears, excluding wildlife damage or misuse
Foundation Repair & Stabilization
  • Helical piers: covered for the life of the structure against further vertical settlement
  • Wall support systems: covered for the life of the structure to prevent inward wall movement
  • Floor support systems: covered for 2 years
Exterior Drainage Systems
  • French drains, downspouts, and grading solutions: covered for 1 year
  • Periodic cleaning may be needed, and clogs are not covered
Transferable Homeowner Warranty
  • If BDry is notified within 60 days of sale, the new owner receives 2 years of coverage
  • Extended warranty coverage may be available upon inspection

These warranties help homeowners feel confident in the systems installed and make long-term protection easier to maintain.

What’s Not Covered

Warranties are designed to cover the performance of installed systems, but they do not cover every possible source of water or damage in a home. Here are the most common exclusions homeowners should know:

  • Leaks from above-grade sources like windows, doors, and gutters
  • Flooding, extreme weather events, or power outages
  • Damage to furniture, flooring, appliances, or stored items
  • Mold, mildew, fungi, or organic growth
  • Sump pumps and dehumidifiers, which are covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty, based on their terms and conditions
  • Drainage clogs, since exterior drainage systems may require periodic cleaning

If you have questions about a specific situation, our team can help clarify what applies to your system and how service requests are handled.

How to Keep Your Warranty Active

Keeping your warranty active is simple, but there are a few important requirements that help ensure BDry can properly inspect, service, and support the system over time.

A warranty may be voided if any of the following apply:
  • The home is foreclosed or abandoned
  • Alterations are made to the BDry-installed system without approval
  • The warranty is not transferred within 60 days of a home sale
  • BDry is denied access for inspection or repairs
  • Mold, mildew, fungi, or organic growth is present in a way that impacts the covered system

If you sell your home, make sure to notify BDry within the transfer window to keep coverage active for the new owner. If you need help verifying warranty status or requesting service, our team can walk you through the next step.

"After meeting with several waterproofing companies, I chose BDry after talking with their solution specialist, Jonathan Flurry. He was professional, not pushy, and clearly explained the FreeFlo System. The install team did a great job and left my basement clean. After heavy rain, the system works exactly as promised. I’m glad I chose BDry and don’t worry about basement flooding anymore."

BDry Warranty FAQs

Warranty length depends on the system installed. Many BDry systems, including interior drainage systems and certain foundation stabilization solutions, are covered for the life of the structure under the original homeowner. Crawl space encapsulation systems are also covered for the life of the structure against material and workmanship defects, with additional coverage details based on the specific product installed.

If the home is sold, the warranty can be transferred to the new homeowner as long as BDry is notified within 60 days of the sale. The new owner receives two years of warranty coverage, and extended warranty options may be available after an inspection.

BDry warranties cover the performance of the systems installed, including foundation stabilization solutions, basement waterproofing systems, crawl space encapsulation, and certain drainage services. Coverage varies by system, so the best way to understand what applies is to review the warranty terms tied to your specific product or installation.

Many systems include long-term coverage, such as lifetime warranties for interior drainage systems and life-of-structure protection against further settlement or inward wall movement for certain foundation repair solutions. Exterior drainage services typically have a shorter coverage window and may require periodic cleaning for continued performance.

BDry warranties do not cover every possible water-related issue in a home. Leaks caused by above-grade sources like windows, doors, or gutters are not covered, and flooding caused by extreme weather events, power outages, or conditions outside the installed system is also excluded.

The warranty also does not cover damage to furniture, flooring, appliances, or stored items. Mold, mildew, fungi, or organic growth are not included, and sump pumps and dehumidifiers fall under their original manufacturer’s warranties based on the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

Yes, BDry warranties can be transferred to a new homeowner. BDry must be notified within 60 days of the sale, and the new homeowner receives two years of warranty coverage. This helps support resale value and gives the next homeowner continued coverage for installed systems.

Extended warranty options may be available beyond the initial two-year transfer coverage, depending on the system and the results of an inspection. If you are planning to sell, it is best to contact BDry early so the transfer process stays simple and timely.

A warranty may be voided if the home is foreclosed or abandoned, if the installed system is altered without approval, or if the warranty is not transferred within the required 60-day window after a home sale. BDry must also have access to inspect and service the system when needed, so denying access can void coverage.

Mold, mildew, fungi, or organic growth are not covered under warranty, and conditions involving those issues can impact coverage depending on the situation. If you are unsure about a change or issue that could affect your warranty, the best step is to contact BDry before making adjustments so coverage stays active.
